Bumin's Destiny (Music Album)

The first-ever original soundtrack for Khan's Den is here. Composed and proudly produced with the help of advanced AI technology by Udio, Emre-E. Yavuz – the man behind Khan's Den – takes the listener to a journey 1500 years in the past, in the faraway mythical region that was once ruled by the Göktürks ("Celestial Turks"). These steppe warriors founded the Göktürk Empire in 552 AD, and with their power center between the Altai Mountains and the mythical forest Ötüken in Mongolia, united all Turkic tribes and peoples of Late Antiquity under their banner. The Ashina ruling house was of Northeast Asian origin, but certainly influenced by western Eurasian culture as well.

Thus, this album serves as the official soundtrack for the Magnum Opus documentary "Bumin's Destiny: Complete Göktürk History" which will be available on Khan's Den in early 2025.

Combining many ethnic elements of the ancient Turkic peoples with modern rock, electronica and even classical cinematic tropes, Emre-E. Yavuz captures the essence of the Göktürks and the history of their first empire: from the tale of the Asena she-wolf to the foundation of the Göktürk state by Bumin, the expansions and wars against Byzantium, China and Persia up to the very fall of this transcontinental steppe empire – and an important message by Bumin to his descendents.
